Hi, My Dear Reader!
It has been quite a while when I wrote a blog last time - I want and promise to write more often than that from now on!
To start with, I would like to tell you about my journey to be a painter, an artist, during the last couple of years.
In 2022 - 2023 I attended a web based art education, that lasted one year, "Mastery Program" by Milan Art Institute (USA).
One of the main goals was to find one´s own voice in Art. In my case: in painting. To find own voice is the key to be able to create based on the most profound "self", Art from the heart. And to create in a way, that one´s inimitable signature is clearly visible in every piece.
So, one part in the syllabus was to identify one´s art archetype and based on that to cathegorize the style of one´s own art. Archetypal Art, so to say. I call this learning "Know ThySelf".
It was an utmost interesting and important component in the studies. Archetype literally means a repeating pattern of behaviour based on the decisions one has made or are aims to make in life. Quite deep, isn´t it? It is also a basis to create one's unique Brand, also in marketing.
First we had to go through a long list of archetypic features in a quiz, to find one´s eight top archetypes from 33 options by using an "answering key". The eight of mine were: Engineer, King, Networker , Teacher, Warrior, Liberator, Lover, Visionary and Writer.
The next phase was to choose three core archetypes, where the list of eight archetypes fit best. Mine were: Magician (8/8), Creator (8/8) and Sage (7/8).

Magician refers to power, wanting to leave a "mark".
Creator is linked to innovation and strives to provide structure. Sage goes together with empathy, and behind that, yearn for spiritual.

I must say, that all the three felt very close to me at once. All of them include many descriptive features, that seem to match me surprisingly well.
I think I will come back to those a little bit in my next blog - stay tuned!
Thank you so much for reading me - see you soon, Dear!
Yours, with love,
Liisa
