Jewels

Jewels is an abstract collection concentrating on colous. It includes three four pieced series: Jewels, Quartet and Breath of Spring.

Quartet and Breath of Spring are mini series, size is only (20 x 20 x 3,5) cm each. In addition to the previous there are a couple of bigger paintings: "Mosaic" and "Rocky Road". Their size is (100 x 70 x 3,5) cm.

"Rocky Road" was shown in the curated exhibition of the Finnish Artists Association in August, 2023, Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory Art Center) in Helsinki, Finland.

 

The connection between these paintings is the colour story: limited palette and a lot of black on black and white on white technique.
