For my dear reader,

As 2025 draws near, many readers have asked why my blog suddenly stopped receiving new posts — even though I kind of promised to publish something new quite soon after the latest blog in September 2025.

The silence was not planned, nor was it due to a lack of ideas or passion. Instead, a mix of unexpected personal challenges — or opportunities — shifting priorities, and the evolving digital landscape led to this pause.

This post explores the reasons behind my blogging break and what it means for the future.

In fact, for the future it means nothing.

I still find blogs a very good way to share my thoughts, feelings, and news!

But suddenly I just ended up in a very positive chaos.

Two opportunities rose out of the blue, and I simply had to grab them.

Firstly, I received an invitation from the Finnish gallery AVA Galleria to join their group exhibition in Paris in October, with two pieces at their booth. It was the art fair Carrousel du Louvre.

And secondly (sorry — I cannot judge which one is “first” or “second”), I got an invitation to attend the same art fair digitally via Artboxy.com, with three pieces.

So I did both.

And I went to Paris — to the Carrousel du Louvre — physically!

Paris, the city I have loved the most from the very first sight, November 1987.That was my first visit — and after that I’ve been there tens of times.

But preparing everything was quite a lot of work. The fair took place 17–19 October 2025.

For the AVA Galleria booth, my pieces Paris, Mon Amour and Tu m’as Promis were shown. For Artboxy, my pieces Ani Hu, Io Sono and Coeur des Coeurs were presented.

Later, Tu m´as promis and Paris, Mon Amour went to be exhibited at Bela Bienale, too By AVA Galleria, in Rio de Janeiro. They will soon return to me back home, in March 2026.

After that, I attended Artboxy’s digital exhibitions at Art Unframed Cologne, parallel to the Cologne Art Fair, and later Miami Art Weeks in December 2025.

During the autumn I also had a change to attend Giuseppe Genta´s blogs presenting Finnish women artists. First a "basic" presentation and then Autumn and Christmas edition. There was quite a lot of preparation, but it was nice!

And right after those came a group exhibition in Helsinki: Kuiskauksia ja huutoja (“Whispers and Shouts”), invited and arranged by Galleria Kookos in our capital city.

So my hands were full with tasks related to these events — besides painting new pieces (the Modern Icons series) — and I simply could not do any better. I am sorry about that!

But I am so thankful for all of this.
