About NFT Art minted from digital pieces: their Minting, Market Places and Wallets. Can an Amateur make it? I did not make a million...yet...

Hi, Dear!

NFT mining and minting

A couple of years ago, when I took my very first steps in my Art marketing, the atmosphere was full of signs of NFT - Non Fungible Tokens - possibilities and offers. There was a lot of discussion on art minted from digital pieces. Of course outside my country, that is: otherwise world wide. I found it most interesting, and I tried to clarify the picture for myself. I wanted to understand, what this issue might mean for a physical painter like me.

A lot of information crossed my head from every where, but I soon felt, that I got lost in it.

But I learnt about the many advantages of NFT principle: you can digitalize your art no matter what kind of art you make: sound, music, painting, photography, AI art - there are countless options!

And for the first time, after you have "stamped" you art digitally - like you do in NFT Art business - you are able to join or enjoy the after market as an artist, too. Namely you can get your royalties, when your pieces gets re-saled. This has never ever before been possible! Imagine, what Salvador Dali could have earned, if this would have been available in his life time! (not that I mean money is the only nor highest goal)

I learnt about the NFT-minting process. I suppose the wording originates from the metal coin minting.

I learnt about the crypto currencies: bitcoin, etherel, monero, solana, tron and so forth. Today there are over 2,4 million different ones, I suppose new ones are born all the time.

I learnt about the wallets to use with them. I learnt about block chains. About paper wallets, hardware wallets, online wallets. I learnt about hosted wallets, private key phrases, currency changes. I learnt about the marketing platforms: Rarible, Open Sea and many many others.

My brain was aching!

I was wondering, if I could find something simple in my own language to clear up my head. If there was some one here, who could guide me a bit.

And the universe answered me the next weekend.

I noticed an article of Mr. Roope Rainisto in our main newspaper, "Helsingin Sanomat", "Hesari"! It was an interview of this fantastic guy, who had just made his million euros by his NFT Art. I attach the article link in the blog below.

Somehow I found a way to contact him, and wrote him a message to get any or some guidance. He replied and told me friendly, that I should attach to a marketing platform called Objkt.com as it is simple and uses the currency thezos, and the cost of which is not too high. He also told me, that I should join Twitter (at that time) as well as discord platform to take part in the communication. I did and took part, when I was ready.

Back to the process

I opened an account in the platform he recommented to me, and learnt, that Kukai Wallet was the one to connect with my account. I clarified all the steps in the process, and managed to get the "place" ready, and the wallet attached, too!

Then: just minting my pieces in!

I prepared and minted the collection, that I called `Vanity Fair`. I placed the pieces and priced them, just like that.

After having all ready I contacted Roope again, asking, if he could check the collection and possible by one piece, to test. He did, and commented: "for a beginner you may have a bit too big collection, and a bit too high price per piece (I have 11 pics, 10 of each). But I will by `Valeur, one piece`. The test was passed in many senses! Thank you so much, Roope!

The transaction can be seen in my site, which is also typical of NFT environment. I attach the link to my site, as well as the link to Roope´s site, too in Objkt.com.

Vanity Fair Story

The story of my collection `Vanity Fair´ starts from my dear friend´s party in April, 2023.

She and her family gave this magnicifient celebration for their company´s 20th anniversary. Such a high age for a company and for entrepreneurship is very respectfull.

They had chosen a beautiful Casino at Helsinki sea shore - Kulosaari Casino - for the jubileum stage, and one of our beloved TV presenters in the country conducted the show. All the participants were horse people, as our Lady Hostess and the Lord Host are very know in the business of Dressage coaching and Show Horse Jumping coaching in our country. Additionally, she also widely known abroad, too, because she is a very high level FEI international dressage judge. It was such and honour to participate, for me and my daughter, too,

I enjoyed the warm atmosphere, the fantastic dinner, and of course the most beautiful interiour. I especially loved The Old Big Black Piano at the hall, and the beautiful chrystal crowns on the ceiling. So I took photos of them. And later minted them in NFT...

The crowns became the `Vanity Fair´collection.

So far I have not become an NFT millionaire with the collection, though, but I live in hope! But surely I learnt so much new things even at this age, and I am proud of myself having conqured all the way through the process.

And I am glad, that I now have the foundation at place, to get back to it later. When I have time.

Tested a print taken from my NFT collection. It turned out to be quite bright and bautiful.

I wish you had fun reading this blog about my experiences about NFT Art minted from digital pieces, maybe realizing, that nothing is impossible (just think about Roope!), and all is possible! I also wish, that you enjoy the pics.

About The Old Big Black Piano I will write another story later.

Just wait for a while!

And thank you for reading, Dear!
